Environmental Business Advisory

We work at the intersection of gender, environment, and climate change. We support the private sector, donors, governments, and development partners in designing and implementing environmentally sustainable programs and interventions. Beyond compliance with environment and social requirements, we seek to identify opportunities that promote higher impact. We use the IFC performance standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability as the guiding principle for our work.

We also work on the built environment through an initiative in Ethiopia that supports’ comprehensive political, financial, and technological strategies that unlock the potential of Ethiopian urban spaces and promote regenerative cities across the country. We believe Ethiopian cities and their hinterland can emerge and thrive as economic centers that positively enhance rather than undermine the ecosystem that provides the resources on which they survive. This initiative is part of a global movement in partnership with REgenapolis, a France based organization which aims to establish regenerative cities that go beyond sustainability.

We provide business advisory services for environmentally driven projects. We offer project identification and originations services, project development and structuring, which includes capacity building, mentoring, high-level advocacy, storytelling and measuring impact. We build local and international coalitions, engage, and support national policy dialogues and conduct all necessary due diligence work. We also work closely with private equity firms and investors to help them create investment strategies, identify, and assess the most promising opportunities for gender lens and environmentally response investments.
