Design & Oversight

We are specialized in participatory and human-centered program design. We believe the most effective programs are designed with the participants at the center as influencers and co-designers. Putting people at the center of the design process helps to consider the full extent and complexity, the dynamics, as well as the interconnectedness of issues and problems that we are trying to solve.

We regularly reexamine existing assumptions and include the perspective of a wide range of participants, especially those that tend to be marginalized.  We continuously strive to improve our listening and observation skills so that we design new and innovative programs that are truly responsive to the needs of participants. Whenever possible, our solutions are tested in the real world with real stakeholders to ensure ownership and full participation of program participants.

Our processes include but are not limited to the following:

• Interview a wide range of stakeholders and review existing information and data

• Plan and facilitate strategic participatory and human-centered design workshops

• Identify project ideas and engage in a co-creation process with relevant stakeholders and team  

• Refine project ideas, goals, outcomes, outputs, and activities

• Design implementation plan and processes

• Support the implementation and oversight of projects
